AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE COMMISSION ON HIGHER EDUCATION FOR A STATEWIDE INTERACTIVE DENTAL DISTANCE EDUCATION PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Forty-five thousand dollars ($45,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the commission on higher education for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to work with a community organization to develop and implement a statewide interactive dental distance education program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
