AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION DIVISION OF THE PUBLIC EDUCATION DEPARTMENT FOR NEW MEXICO TELE-WORK.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Forty-seven thousand eight hundred ninety-three dollars ($47,893) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for the vocational rehabilitation division for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 for the New Mexico tele-work program to provide loans for equipment needed for a person with a disability to start a home business or for an employee with a disability to work from a remote location. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
