AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE STATE COMMISSION OF PUBLIC RECORDS FOR THE OFFICE OF THE STATE HISTORIAN'S NEW MEXICO HISTORY PUBLICATIONS SERIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred ten thousand dollars ($210,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state commission of public records for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 for the office of the state historian's New Mexico history publications series to advance knowledge, understanding and appreciation of New Mexico history. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
