AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO ACEQUIA MADRE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT AND SUPPORT OF A BILINGUAL PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 for the establishment and support of a bilingual program at Acequia Madre elementary school in Santa Fe. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
