    Your INDIAN AND CULTURAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred


SENATE BILL 990


has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:


    1.  On page 1, line 11, after "for" insert "Native American". 

    2.  On page 1, line 16, strike "Indian".

 

    3.  On page 1, line 17, strike "affairs" and insert in lieu

thereof "veterans' services".


    4.  On page 1, line 18, after "provide" insert "training and".


    5.  On page 1, line 18, after "at" strike the remainder of the

line and insert in lieu thereof "the nineteen Native American

pueblos, Jicarilla Apache, Mescalero Apache, and the Navajo Nation".


    6.  On page 1, line 19, strike "Domingo" and after the period

insert: "Training shall be conducted at the capital of the nineteen

Native American pueblos, the Pueblo of Santo Domingo.",


and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
