AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO COMPLETE A FILM ON THE STATUS AND FUNDING OF THE FEDERAL INDIAN HEALTH CARE SYSTEM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Forty-five thousand dollars ($45,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the Indian affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to contract for services to complete a film on the status and funding of the federal Indian health care system. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
