SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
House Bill 94 appropriates $1,000.0 from the general fund to the Department of Military Affairs
to provide the New Mexico National Guard with increased levels of armor for its personnel and
vehicles.
The bill contains an emergency clause.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The appropriation of $1,000.0 contained in this bill is a non-recurring expense to the general
fund. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of FY06 shall revert to
the general fund.
CONFLICT, DUPLICATION, COMPANIONSHIP, RELATIONSHIP
The Department of Military Affairs states federal funds are used to equip both personnel and ve-
hicles for overseas combat missions, and at this time state funds are not requested to supplement
federal military funding.
