if they are used for other purposes.

Adobe PDF versions include all attachments, whereas HTML versions may not. Previously issued FIRs and

Synopsis of SFl#1 Amendment

Senate Floor Amendment #1 to House Bill 529 amends the location for PELR meetings to be

“…in New Mexico” rather than being limited to either Albuquerque or Santa Fe.

Synopsis of Original Bill

House Bill 529 amends Section 10-7E-12 NMSA 1978 allowing for Public Employee Labor Re-

lations meetings to also be held in Albuquerque.

Significant Issues

The Board’s offices are located in Albuquerque.

PERFORMANCE IMPLICATIONS

The agency would be able to operate more efficiently and effectively by conducting meetings in

the locale their offices are located.

FISCAL IMPLICATIONS

Travel costs associated with board members and staff traveling to Santa Fe for meetings will be

reduced.
