SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
House Joint Memorial 107 requests the Office of the State Engineer, The Interstate Stream
Commission and the Department of the Environment create a joint task force to study the issue
of storm water management and reuse.
The joint memorial also requests a report be provided to the appropriate interim committee prior
to the 2006 legislative session.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
Supporting a task force will require staff support and other related costs. The agencies noted do
not have budget to support these specific activities but should be able to provide limited support
to a task force within existing budget. Travel and per diem are not specifically authorized in the
memorial, so attracting public members to participate may be difficult.
