SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
Senate Bill 1043 allows the Bernalillo County Commissioners to delegate review and approval
of any or all subdivision plats to either a county administrative officer or to the county planning
commission.
Significant Issues
This bill would provide more flexibility and streamline the review procedures for smaller subdi-
vision plats. It would preserve the requirements for public hearings on preliminary plats and for
appeals of decisions by a delegate of the commission to the full board of county commissioners.
