    Your RULES COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE MEMORIAL 27

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 2, line 22, after "department", strike the remainder of the line.

    2. On page 2, line 23, strike the line through the comma.

    3. On page 3, between lines 6 and 7, insert the following:

    "BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the oil conservation division of the energy, minerals and natural resources department solicit the input of stakeholder groups from oil and gas producing areas of the state, including representatives of the oil and gas industry, environmental groups, Indian tribes and cultural groups, land surface owners, relevant federal agencies and the state land office; and

    BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the oil conservation division of the energy, minerals and natural resources department report its findings to the legislative finance committee and the interim legislative revenue stabilization and tax policy committee by December 1, 2005; and".
