    Your APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 19, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. Strike House Taxation and Revenue Committee Amendment Number 2.

     2. On page 4, between lines 11 and 12, insert the following new section:

     "Section 2. A new section of the Income Tax Act is enacted to read:

     "EXEMPTION--2005 TAXABLE YEAR REBATE.--The tax rebate made for the 2005 taxable year is exempt from state income tax."”.
