AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE SERVED BY THE DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES MEDICAID WAIVER PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Four million dollars ($4,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to increase the number of people served on the developmental disabilities medicaid waiting list by approximately two hundred people. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
