AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO MARKET AND PROMOTE NEW MEXICO AND ITS UNIQUE CULTURE BY SUPPORTING THE MARKETING OF THE FILM LA LLORONA.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Four hundred fifty thousand dollars ($450,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the economic development department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to market and promote New Mexico and its unique culture by supporting the marketing of the film La Llorona. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
