AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR SALARY INCREASES FOR SCHOOL CROSSING GUARDS IN THE RIO GRANDE HIGH SCHOOL CLUSTER OF THE ALBUQUERQUE PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Six thousand dollars ($6,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 for a salary increase for school crossing guards in the Rio Grande high school cluster of the Albuquerque public school district. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
