AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROMOTE INTERCULTURAL STUDIES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred sixty thousand dollars ($160,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for deposit in fiscal year 2007 in the Alfonso Ortiz center for intercultural studies endowment fund. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall not revert to the general fund.
