AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO FUND A COLLABORATIVE PROGRAM WITH NEW MEXICO HIGHLANDS UNIVERSITY'S SCHOOL OF SOCIAL WORK FOR A SECURE STATEWIDE LONG-TERM MULTIJURISDICTIONAL RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT FACILITY.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three million six hundred thousand dollars ($3,600,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico highlands university for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to fund a collaborative program with the university's school of social work for a secure statewide long-term multijurisdictional residential treatment facility. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
