AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE VIOLENCE PREVENTION PROGRAM IN THE WEST LAS VEGAS PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT IN SAN MIGUEL COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Ninety thousand dollars ($90,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to support the violence prevention program in the West Las Vegas public school district in San Miguel county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
