AN ACT

TRANSFERRING MONEY TO THE WATER TRUST FUND; MAKING AN APPROPRIATION.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. TRANSFER.--On the effective date of this act, one hundred twenty-five million dollars ($125,000,000) is transferred from the general fund to the water trust fund. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of a fiscal year shall not revert to the general fund.
