AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE FOURTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT ATTORNEY FOR THREE FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty-eight thousand dollars ($158,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the fourth judicial district attorney for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to provide salaries and benefits for a special program director, a victim advocate and a prosecution assistant who aids in the prosecution of domestic violence cases. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
