Synopsis of Bill
House Bill 765 appropriates $100 thousand from the general fund to the public education de-
partment for the purpose of providing math instruction training for teachers in the Eldorado clus-
ter of the Albuquerque public schools.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The appropriation of $100 thousand contained in this bill is a nonrecurring expense to the gen-
eral fund. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007
shall revert to the general fund.
SIGNIFICANT ISSUES
The bill as presented provides that training shall aid teachers in improving their skills, technical
knowledge and teaching techniques in mathematics.
