    Your AGRICULTURE AND WATER RESOURCES COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 53

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 2, between lines 16 and 17, insert the following new paragraphs:

                "(10) the executive director of the rural water association or the executive director’s designee.

                (11) the executive director of the New Mexico association of conservation districts or the executive director's designee;

                (12) the executive director of the New Mexico acequia association or the executive director's designee;".

     2. Renumber the succeeding paragraphs accordingly.

     3. On page 2, line 17, strike "five" and insert in lieu thereof "three".

     4. On page 2, line 21, after the semicolon insert "and".

     5. On page 2, line 24, strike Subparagraph (d) in its entirety.

     6. On page 2, line 25 and on page 3, line 1, strike Subparagraph (e) in its entirety.,

and thence referred to the HEALTH AND GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS COMMITTEE.
