AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A RURAL NAVAJO ORAL HEALTH CARE PLAN.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three million dollars ($3,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the higher education department for San Juan college for expenditure in fiscal years 2008 through 2012 to develop, establish and maintain a rural oral health intervention and prevention program for children up to four years of age who are members of the Navajo Nation. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2012 shall revert to the general fund.
