AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR WORKFORCE TRAINING PROGRAMS AND SOFTWARE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Eight hundred thousand dollars ($800,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the human services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to fund community action agencies to establish the reweaving community model and software, which matches resources of low-income clients with other persons, businesses and organizations in communities to maximize opportunities and well-being. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
