AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR EXPANSION OF AT-HOME INFANT CARE PROGRAMS.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred sixty thousand dollars ($360,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the children, youth and families department for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to expand at-home infant care programs, using half the funding for existing at-home infant care programs and the other half for establishment and administration of other pilot at-home infant care sites. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
