    Your PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 181

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, strike line 13 and strike line 14 through the semicolon.

    2. On page 2, line 8, after the period insert:

    "When the filing of a tax return or payment of a tax is accomplished by mail, the date of the postmark shall be considered the date of submission of the return or payment.".

    3. On pages 3 through 5, strike Section 2 in its entirety.

    4. Renumber the succeeding sections accordingly.,

and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
