AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO TO CREATE A COLLEGE MENTORING PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred ninety-eight thousand eight hundred dollars ($198,800) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to create a college mentoring program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
