AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO TO EXPAND THE SUSTAINABILITY STUDIES PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred seven thousand five hundred eighty-two dollars ($307,582) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to fund expansion of the sustainability studies program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
