    Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 383

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, line 19, after "2008" insert "and subsequent fiscal years to match other money from non-state sources for the purpose of establishing an endowment".

     2. On page 1, line 20, after "program" insert "for geographic education in New Mexico public schools".

     3. On page 1, line 21, strike "fiscal year 2008 shall" and insert in lieu thereof "a fiscal year shall not".,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
