AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A BASIC ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COURSE IN MEXICO FOR WESTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of western New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to plan and implement a nationally accredited basic economic development course in Mexico for western New Mexico university. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
