AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE OPERATION OF A STATE VISITORS CENTER IN SOUTHEASTERN NEW MEXICO.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred eight thousand dollars ($108,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the tourism department for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to operate the Billy the Kid national scenic byway visitors center as a state visitors center. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
