Mr. Speaker:

    Your HEALTH AND GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 869

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 3, between lines 5 and 6, insert the following new subsection:

          "D. The institute shall develop and implement methods to quickly and efficiently communicate with all small counties and municipalities with a population of fifty thousand persons or fewer on the template and processes developed pursuant to this section,

including any updates, improvements and other support. The training and exercise manual and any other materials shall be provided to all such small counties and municipalities and shall be made available electronically.".

     2. Reletter the succeeding subsection accordingly.,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
