AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR AN AFRICAN AMERICAN PERFORMING ARTS CENTER AND EXHIBIT HALL AT THE NEW MEXICO STATE FAIR.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the office of African American affairs for the African American performing arts center and exhibit hall at the New Mexico state fair for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 for administrative services and associated costs that support the center in providing programs, resources and events for the community and the state. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
