AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF EASTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY FOR AN ADVANCED TUTORING PROGRAM FOR STUDENTS TAKING HIGH-RISK COURSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Ninety-eight thousand dollars ($98,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of eastern New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 for an advanced tutoring program for students taking high-risk courses. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
