AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A SUBSTANCE ABUSE PREVENTION PROGRAM IN THE SOUTH BROADWAY NEIGHBORHOOD OF BERNALILLO COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Ten thousand dollars ($10,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to pay for Bernalillo county to contract for services to continue a substance abuse prevention program in the south Broadway neighborhood of Bernalillo county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
