AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE EASTERN NEW MEXICO DISTANCE EDUCATION PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of eastern New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to support the university's distance education program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
