AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE FARMINGTON INDIAN CENTER TO SUPPORT CULTURALLY RELEVANT AND EDUCATION-ORIENTED ACTIVITIES.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 for the city of Farmington to support culturally relevant and education-oriented activities and events at the Farmington Indian center. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
