AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE SOUTHWEST INSTITUTE FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT AT NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to pay for the southwest institute for early childhood research and development. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
