AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A FOOD PRODUCTS PROCESSING AND TESTING CENTER AT NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One million one hundred thousand dollars ($1,100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to establish and operate a food products processing and testing center on the main campus in Las Cruces. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
