AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE FIESTA EDUCATIVA PARENT CONFERENCE AND OUTREACH.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 for the Gadsden independent school district for the fiesta educativa parent conference and outreach activities. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
