    Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 299

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, lines 12 and 13, strike "SCHOOL OF MEDICINE" and insert in lieu thereof "HEALTH SCIENCES CENTER".

    2. On page 1, line 21, after "encourage" strike "students" and after "underrepresented" insert "students and retain them".

    3. On page 1, lines 21 and 22, strike "to enter and graduate from health or allied" and insert in lieu thereof "field and".

    4. On page 1, line 23, strike the line in its entirety.

    5. On page 1, line 24, strike the line through "level".,

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
