    1. On page 4, line 2, strike "its bylaws, by".

    2. On page 4, line 3, strike "and as provided in" and insert in lieu thereof ", by the provisions of".

    3. On page 4, line 4, after "state" insert "and by all provisions of its bylaws not in conflict with the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo or state law".

    4. On page 4, line 10, after "estate" insert "owned by the land grant-merced".

    5. On page 5, lines 24 and 25, strike "act as arbitrator" and insert in lieu thereof "select a qualified arbitrator to arbitrate".

    6. On page 15, lines 4 and 5, strike ", in the opinion of the board of trustees,".

    7. On page 15, line 11, after the period insert:

    "The prevailing party shall be entitled to recover costs and reasonable attorney fees.".

    8. On page 17, line 17, after the second occurrence of "lands" insert "held by the land grant-merced".
