    Your FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 310, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 2, strike line 25.

    2. On page 3, strike line 1 and on line 2, strike "and" and insert in lieu thereof the subparagraph designation "(b)".

    3. On page 3, line 5, after "subdivision", insert "and the employment is for a term of two years; provided, however, that the governing body may renew the employment by passing a resolution declaring continuing need".

    4. On page 3, line 7, after "employee", insert "or retained as an independent contractor".

    5. On page 4, line 8, after "association", insert ". No employee contributions shall be required pursuant to this paragraph".
