SENATE BILL 529

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 7, line 4, after the period insert "A health maintenance organization has the discretion to determine the provider of hearing aids with which it contracts. Nothing in this section shall be construed to preclude a health maintenance organization from conducting medical necessity or utilization review for hearing aids and related services.".,

and thence referred to the CORPORATIONS AND TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE.
