AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO RECRUIT AND RETAIN QUALIFIED FACULTY AND STAFF FOR NORTHERN NEW MEXICO STATE SCHOOL.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thirty-two thousand three hundred dollars ($332,300) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of northern New Mexico state school for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to recruit and retain qualified faculty and staff for northern New Mexico state school. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
