AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE SPEECH AND HEARING REHABILITATION OUTREACH CENTER AT EASTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty-three thousand five hundred dollars ($53,500) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of eastern New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 for operational expenses of the speech and hearing rehabilitation outreach center. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
