AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT FOR THE PERSONAL CARE OPTION PROGRAM, MANAGED BY THE AGING AND LONG-TERM SERVICES DEPARTMENT, TO IMPLEMENT A SINGLE RATE OF REIMBURSEMENT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three million nine hundred thousand dollars ($3,900,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the human services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to implement a single rate of reimbursement of thirteen dollars ninety-four cents ($13.94) per hour of service for the personal care option program that is managed by the aging and long-term services department. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
