has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 2, line 8, strike "tribal" and insert "New Mexico tribe".

     2. On page 2, line 12, after "to", insert "urban Indians who are residents of New Mexico or to".

     3. On page 2, line 14, after the subsection designation "E.", strike the opening quotation mark and insert in lieu thereof ""New Mexico".

     4. On page 2, line 16, strike "tribal" and after "member", insert "of a federally recognized tribe or an Alaska native who lives in an off-reservation urban area and is a New Mexico resident", strike the remainder of the line and strike line 17 up to the period.

     5. On page 3, line 18, after "department", insert "and work to expand appropriate Indian education for tribal students in preschool through grade twenty".
