WELCOMING MICHAEL COOPER AS AN HONORARY MEMBER OF THE NEW
MEXICO STATE SENATE.
WHEREAS, it is a widely known truism that New Mexico's

New Mexico makes each house of the legislature the judge of
the qualifications of its members;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE
STATE OF NEW MEXICO that Michael Cooper be made an honorary
member of the New Mexico senate with all of the rights and
none of the responsibilities of a senator; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that as soon as Mr. Cooper
accepts his new position, the senate boldly and confidently
challenge the house to a rematch.
