Synopsis of Bill
House Bill 10 appropriates $25,000 from the general fund to the Local Government Division of
the Department of Finance and Administration for expenditure in FY08 for graffiti cleanup in the
area contained between Central Ave., SW on the north, Rio Bravo Blvd., SW on the south, Coors
Blvd, SW on the west and Rio Grande on the east in Bernalillo County.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The bill appropriates $25,000 in general fund moneys to the Local Government Division of DFA
for graffiti cleanup in Bernalillo County. The legislation specifies that any unexpended or
unencumbered balance remaining at the end of FY08 shall revert to the general fund.
WHAT WILL BE THE CONSEQUENCES OF NOT ENACTING THIS BILL
$25,000 in general fund monies would not be available for graffiti cleanup in areas specified by
the bill in Bernalillo County.
